Bidder restrictions

While Bidder offers many advantages in campaign optimization and cost management, it has certain limitations you should bear in mind so as to avoid unexpected campaign results. Please read the following clarifications carefully:

Automatic Bidding Optimization can increase zone bids above your campaign bid

Depending on the performance from the zone you are receiving conversions from, Bidder can significantly increase the bid you are using in this zone. You could find your campaigns paying several times your original bid in specific zones. Because of this, please be very careful when determining the Daily Budget your Bidder camapigns will use. Should your zone bids scale up, your Daily Budget might not be respected.

Zones can be re-enabled by Bidder

When you enable Automatic Bidding Optimization in a campaign, you let Bidder have control over your zone targeting. It might happen that you want to remove a zone from a campaign, but Bidder has already optimized the bid from this zone. In that case, you won't be able to remove the zone from targeting because Bidder will apply the optimized bid again.

In order to have this zone completely removed from your campaign, you must add the website to Excluded domains. Since Bidder doesn't have access to Domains targeting, you won't see this zone appear in your campaign settings again.
