Banners labelled Heavy Banner have now been rejected, the Heavy Banners label has been removed, and the system will no longer accept banners that are above 150Kb after optimization.
What can this new feature do for me?
This feature will help to ensure that Advertiser's campaigns display efficiently on Publisher's sites.
In May, banners above 150Kb were labelled Heavy Banner.
Advertisers were given a period to review banners larger than 150Kb: and either reduce their size below 150Kb or remove them altogether.
Now any assets still labelled as Heavy Banner have been rejected, and we have removed the Heavy Banners label.
From now on, though you can upload files larger than 150kb, they must be below 150Kb after optimization.
Note: These changes will not apply to the Mobile/Desktop Fullpage Interstitial format (900x1600).
